Meet the Team

Shirley Scott – Certified Instructor Since 2012

I live on 3 acres in rural Linn County, between Lebanon and Sweet Home with my husband Ron, our golden retriever, Cali, and a flock of chickens.  We enjoy a peaceful life in the country, attracting wild birds to our feeders and gardening.  I’ve sewn since I was 10, but my introduction to quilting happened when a neighbor shared what she had completed in a quilt class.  Now, thirty years later, I’m still on my quilting journey.  With retirement from my working life in June 2019, I’m thankful to have more time in my studio.  I enjoy many quilting techniques, but am especially hooked on paper piecing.

Cindy McEntee - Certified Instructor Since 2018

I worked in my Grandmother’s restaurant since I was 12, taking over completely when I was 21.  I have 6 grandkids and 2 children, who took over the business when I retired in 2016, making it a 5 generation family business.  I live in Newport and am blessed with a wonderful and loving family, we are closely knit and spend a great deal of time together.  In 1998, I decided I needed a hobby and found an old 1961 Pfaff sewing machine in my closet.  Quilting turned into a passion!  I am still making quilts and stacking them on that old Pfaff.

Jennifer Reinhart - Executive Assistant - Professional Machine Quilter

I live nestled in the woods on a small hill in Newport, Oregon.  I’m married to Bill, the local Utility Company Controller, and I have two kids. Dillon is my mountain climber, runner, Type 1 Diabetic Badass, who is currently a freshman at the University of Portland majoring in Secondary Education with a minor in History.  Lucy is my 13-year-old Competitive Swimming Champion, with an Oregon State Title & two top five times, and all-around sassy teen girl.  We live with our Saint Bernard Bella, one rabbit, and 12 chickens.  I’m a Professional Machine Quilter and work full time from my in-home studio.  Things I love:  The Steelers, Fuzzy Socks and soft Pajama Pants, Tacos, Peanut Butter Ice Cream, and finding time to quilt my own projects.
